Hey all I think we should start a Tacoma wave when you see a taco pass by give them a wave just like motorcyclists do bus drivers and jeeps

No way this should become a thing. In addition to whatscp comment above... there are SO MANY Tacomas on the road we would never have both hands on the wheel. Forget it.

Im cool with allowing the jeep nerds to keep their lame ass wave. Just say NO to the wave.

I feel like this thread was a thing a week ago.

Id be down for a 2-3 finger wave if I wouldn’t get left hanging most of the time. Lol

My girlfriend has a Jeep and is always trying to get me to start this. It’s pretty much the same thing as others have said. Too wide of a demographic and it just seems like you’re trying too hard.

I guess back in Texas there was a truck wave in some smaller parts, but that’s the closest I’ve seen.

I will admit tho I think I wave at almost every Tacoma that’s clearly modded in some way.. thinking that they care more about Tacoma’s than stock owners. Even tho my Tacoma is mostly stock right now. I feel like they’re more likely to show Taco Love.

In Hawaii, I feel like I'd be waving at everyone.

I once drove my father's Corvette. I got him in trouble with the other local mid-life crisiskateers by not waving to any of them. Have to admit, I was not ashamed.

btw- I love seeing all the Trailer Park Boys avatars and sigs on here. lol

That is already a thing here in Calgary but more with the lifted and modded tacoma's. The more it looks like an overland vehicle the more waves I get.

And just where am I supposed to get a free hand? Between yakking on the ham radio, sipping my latté and shifting I'm a busy man!

Where I live, everyone with a tacoma is either someone who bought it just cause it has a bed, or someone that has no idea what they truly own. And I'm not saying that lightly.

So as far as me getting a wave out here when I pass other tacomas... fucking impossible. I hate living here.

I throw out a hang loose sign if I see a twin to mine (silver dcsb) or one with mods I like. Not many waves back, I don't care. Imma wave anyway
