I put mine on this afternoon. Taking it for an alignment tommorrow. I don't mean to sound like a noob but the handling feels WAY BETTER! Especially tracking on the highway.

My front end isn't even lifted very much, maybe 2 inches.. I didn't even think it was lifted enough to benefit from ucas but now I can't believe I waited this long to do It!

Alot of guys don't like the needle style grease fittings that are in the pics but there was 2 normal style zirks in the box so I took the needle style out and out the reg style ones in.. I even put a couple small rubber vacuum caps over the fittings to keep the grease out.

    Very happy so far!

Hey Schmidt considering putting these on my tc ucas. On the site they have a tapered pin and straight pin. Did you get the tapered? How do you know which one to get? Thanks.

Well it depends if you want to drill your knuckles to a 3/4" straight hole. The taper pin is the stock taper that the knuckle has from the factory on the 2 gen Tacoma I believe. But that's when I contacted them a year and a half ago so I could be wrong. Best thing to do is contact them, they are very friendly. I went with the straight pin for my truck. Also still haven't needed to adjust the preload on the ball just grease them every 5000km. Its a great product.

What grease is everyone using in their Delta Joints? I use Super Lube Synthetic on my truck but did not know if that would be sufficient for the Delta Joints.

Is it normal to hear some pops/clunks when these things break in? A couple times when entering a parking lot (up a curb-cut) i heard a pop like the joint was seating I assume?:notsure:
Honestly im not too concerned though because other than that these things feel good.

    Stuff and junk and things...
I used super lube on the UCA pivot bushings, after 6-8 months from initial install they started to make some noise. I re-greased and silent since. The DJ takes a moly lube only per Icon, I used Sta-lube brand. https://www.amazon.com/Sta-Lube-SL3330-Moly-Graph-Pressure-Multi-Purpose/dp/B000KKJQL4

The brand doesn't mater as long as it's a molybdenum grease and greased every oil change as a PM measure.

Thank you. Got my DJ in the other day, fast shipping as always thanks to wheelers, just waiting on the press adapter to come in.

My guess is that its all about the $$. Better or the same is unknown so charge more, if it costs more it must be better right?

I installed mine today and took my truck for a test drive and I have noticed the same thing. Although I am a little concerned. Can anyone weigh in?

Had the same noise during the first 100 miles or so, then it went away. I checked it out and everything was still seated correctly and have taken it offroad a few times and no issues or sounds. Need to lube it up soon though.

edit* It sounded almost like a knock from inside the truck and not a pop to me if that makes a difference, and it only happened when I was going over speed bumps and flexing the front. It went away, and have not heard it again.

I was thinking about loosening/re-greasing the long bolt and bushings at the frame rail with the truck on the ground partially

    Update:
I did end up loosening and tightening the long bolt/washers at the frame rail and I may have fixed it.. I'm going on a long drive up some logging roads tomorrow so I'll know soon enough...

Sweet right on. I went back in my junk parts pile and found the old pin still in old UCA. It’s tapered... and emf tapered pins are on back order.. don’t know how long I can last waiting. Is that what you did? Drilled knuckle to fit a straight pin?

They are a made to order I believe. It took about 4-6 weeks for the last pair that I ordered for a friend to show up. For me the wait was worth the quiet ride that I have had for the last year and a half with no problems just regular greasing when I'm doing my oil changes. If you contact them they should be able to put it into one of there production runs.
I personally drilled the Knuckle but taper is what I ordered this last time and its nice that you don't have to drill it out.

I tried to get those. Called the company and they told me they had to make them and they would call me back in 3-4 weeks. 8 weeks later still no response. So I caved and bought some jbaoffroad UCAs. Honestly best choice I ever made. No squeaks, amazing handling, everything greasable and super high caster. Truck has never driven better. Best part only $550.

Yeah unfortunately they are made to order since they aren't in high demand.
