Did you get the DJ install tool? If so you should be able to press in on the truck with a BJ press kit.

Icon can supply new bushings if you need them. Or SDHQ probably stocks them in town for you.

I got them in with the C-clamp and the icon tool. Now I need a good alignment lol

Yeah I'm going to check SDHQ later this week since they're closed on Monday.

For all you Gents running the Kings and tubular delta joint UCAs.

What size tires are you running?
I know that wheels play a large part in fitting larger tires, but I'm curious as to what alignment specs you were able to achieve with the icon UCAs. Specifically how much caster.

I currently have the king and icon setup on 32s" (yes my truck looks ridiculous on these tiny tires) , deciding between either 33s or 34s.
Already have CMC done, steel front bumper with tons of front clearance, and minor fender liner trimming. I have no problem with trimming more plastic/fenders, I think my limiting factor is the amount of + caster I can get to push the tire away from that cab mount?

If anyone else has input, please chyme in. I'm looking for all the info I can get.

I am running 285/75r17’s and love that size. Might need to re gear with the v6 4.0. They work well with the v8 4.7. Will need a cab mount chop and hammer down the pinch weld but it’s not bad.

Thank you for the reply. Do you recall what your alignment numbers were?

Haha, perfect. You're running the same size I'm thinking about getting. Let me know how it goes!
I would assume tire clearance isn't too different on a GX. But I'm sure someone will tell me I'm wrong.

I would like to know too, I have a similar set up but instead of kings I have OME suspension, and 285s etc.

Here you go. Factory specs for the GX calls for a lot more caster(2.5-5). Looks like I didn’t really need a alignment after I added the bumper, winch and new wheels and tires but at least now I know my alignment is good to go. Dang tires are expensive!

That’s a good amount of caster. Thank you sir.

Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
Any long term reviews out there yet? Looks like I will be needing to make a decision sooner rather than later...

Anyone noticing surface rust on the top of the Detla Joint? It's been only a month and noticed quite a bit of surface rust.

I recently bought these as part of the lift kit that I will install as soon, waiting for all the pieces to come in. I'm also interested in others feedback on their alignment numbers they were able to achieve with the Icon DJs?

can anyone give some long term use feedback for the delta joints?

Currently have ICON uca’s With standard uniball and they are in need of replacements. Thinking about going this route. Will also be replacing bushings while they are off and apart

There are 14 pages on this thread and not one person has posted pictures of the Delta Joint retrofits on TC or Dirt King, or similar control arms installed on their ride?!
