That's nothing proprietary about needle style zerks, but you can put standard zerks in them as well

That would be the route I would go if I was to get these.

I'm not seeing where they say that it has the strength of a uniball. If that was the case why wouldn't Icon stop using uniballs all together and use this magical ball joint only?

If you look at the page or watch the video, it says the pullout strength is stronger than the industry standard 1" uniball. But I'd be more worried about the shear strength on a UCA.

If we are getting to that point then we might as well wonder what the frame shear strength is. Lol.

cost, betting this costs more then a simple uniball. if they stopped selling the uniball and only this, then people would rage and bitch on here that Icon is stupid lol. but people seem to have innovation and new products sometimes lol

Ways of the old world which seems to be amplified as people age. (Senility) Haha. Even I admit that at 27 I sometimes hate innovation and new ideas, only because I know that the quality of craftsmanship is fairly lackluster in today's products. There are too many ideas and products out there that are released half baked which are sold at a premium price. It's kind of like the old saying goes, "they don't make 'em like they used to."

As for pricing we will likely be seeing these around 262 for a pair which for me personally is not too bad. Granted they are ball joints but for high quality stuff, price is not a factor. You gotta pay to play right?

I order a set of arms with the Delta joint for my T4R. I'm looking forward to this as I don't want a uniball UCA's on the wife's DD.

No they call it a delta joint. Did you watch the video? It's a uniball with some fancy words thrown in. Even fits into uniball uca

It has the angularity of a spherical bearing and sized to replace a spherical bearing used in Icon UCA's but it's not a spherical bearing.
