Just the thread I was look for... I just picked up ICON stag 7 w/ billet uppers and secondary's. Do you guys think the uppers will come with the new delta joints or the older uniballs? Or do I have to upgrade to the delta joints? 4 wheel parts has not recived my uppers from ICON yet.

It is highly likely your new arms will have the new Delta joints already in place.

Unless you specify Delta joints I doubt it. The standard stage 7 kit states uni ball online. The Delta joint is actually a cheaper option. Check the icon website and you'll see uniballs are still in the kit.

Edit: I stand corrected... The Delta joint is more expensive than the uniball replacement kit, but like everyone on this thread is wondering... Is it a better option?;). Time will tell. There are views saying uniballs are stronger than a ball joints though. We'll see how well ICON has designed this one:thumbsup:

How miles do you guys have in these? Still happy? I'm asking because I would rather get these over the Moog joints in some of the other arms.

1400ish on my T4R, zero issues. IMO better quality than any Moog joint.

Crap my 11 month old uniballs are starting to squeak. I have Total Chaos arms tho. Don't think these will fit, huh?

Does anybody know if and when they will be available for Total Chaos arms?

Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
The squeaking is normal, just need to get in there and clean them out with some qtips, I usually have to hit mine every 6-8 months and they are good to go again.

    On a side note:
As I was waiting for the STG 7 Icon set to come into 4wheelparts for installation... I decided 2 days ago to cruise over to the Icon website to find that they just released a new "RXT rear suspension kit" that adds 20% more down travel. They have developed a completey different shock for this "RXT" series, different from the Omega shocks that come with the STG7 kit. I just can't get ahead with these people, first the Delta joint now this. more money---

These things look pretty bitchen. They look very similar To Michigan Metal Works Jeebus Joints. I have been using those on bagged trucks for over 5 years. I have over 100K miles on a set and there still decent. Thats all street driving but on a suspension system that travels over 12 inches
