its not difficult. theres a retaining clip on the bottom of the joint....removed that...press the old joint out and press the new ones in...reinstall new retaining clip. simple process if you have access to a press. if not, any machine shop or regular shop should be able
to press them out and put the new ones in.

the kit comes with the 2 joints...new retaining clips and grease...also comes with 2 zerk fittings.

a Ball joint press can be used to get the joint in and out with the arm on the truck.

Do you think it would be possible to use the bjp and not have to remove the UCAs from the truck?

By the time you disconnect the spindle from the UCA joint it's really nothing to remove the UCA by taking out the long bolt. It's so much easier to work on it on a work bench or on the ground. And aligning the Delta joint as you press it into the arm is easier. Guess it just depends on how much time you have on your hands to work on it..

You can and I have done it with regular uniballs one 1st gen and 4th gen T4R. Shouldn't be any different to replace with the DJ.

So if it is possible to push out the uniball with a ball joint press, then in theory it is possible to use the bjp to put the Delta joint in, correct? I am trying to make this a driveway job without having to remove the UCAs and take them to a shop and have them pressed out and in.

Just got my Icon tubular UCA's with pre-installed delta joint. These new delta joints came out right as I was agonizing on choosing between going with a uni-ball or sealed-type unit for my suspension install. This delta joint seems to have struck the perfect balance between the two. They definitely have tons of articulation/range of motion.

I'm hoping they provide me years of squeak-free use.

No pics yet, they are just sitting in boxes right now. Got them through Downsouth motorsports and ironically, they're being paired with King 2.5" setup. They delta joints came pre-pressed into the UCA. They definitely don't look as cool as a shiny off-road uni-ball, they sorta just look like an OEM bit, but you can tell the engineering and technology is there. Time will tell how they hold up, but I'm pretty pumped about them, as I was really concerned about the noisiness and (lack of) longevity with uniballs.

It’s pulled down into the “coned washer”!!!
I replaced these and my uniball (not Icon Deltas, still unsure if the Deltas will fit in my UCA’s or I’d def purchase them) recently and fixed my noise issues!

    Great Tool Kit!
My local Auto Zone has these for “borrow” (about $220 deposit).
Used it for my UCA Uniballs & My LCA Ball Joint replacements.
I will say that to do the uniballs on my UCAs with this tool I had to take them off the truck as this tool would not fit into the wheel well using the attachments needed.
