Just bought a 2020 off road, literally zero km on it.

I planned to go with 5100's all around and a 1.5 block in the rear, but it appears 5100 are impossible to get right now.

I'm looking at the supreme suspensions full kit with the diff drop, shims etc. 2/1.5" and add 265/75/16 ko2
Does this sound like a good idea?
The only off roading I would do is a trail or dirt road to a camping or hunting spot a couple of times a year, and a lot of snow in the winter.

I've read through this whole thread and I was a little leery of spacers, but there's nothing really negative in here about them!
I figure when it's time to change shocks I'll upgrade to coils then !

I did some minor off-road stuff with stock suspension and 265/75/16 Ko2s, never rubbed anything.

I am ready to do a 2/1 lift also Bilsteins on all 4 corners and aal in the rear. My question is did anybody experience any vibrations afterwards? Did anyone do a front differential drop or replace the needle bearing bushing? Thanks

I do have a slight rear end vibration between 20-25mph, I forgot the axle shims so those are on order, hopefully that corrects it. With the add a leaf rear.

2/1.5 basically restores factory rake correct?
I am about to put the supreme suspensions kit on tomorrow with the diff drop and carrier bearing kit.
They included shims for the blocks, in your opinion should I go without the shims and see if it vibrates first?
I've read that some people put the shims in right away and it vibrates then remove them and it's fine.

Yes you will keep rake or close to factory. Yeah it’s crazy some guys get vibes some don’t. IMO good to be safe. Try with out shims. It’s so easy to put them in if need be. Definitely post pics

Hey Elvis, I’m doing a 2/1 level (block) , diff drop and driveshaft spacer. Also doing 1.25” spidertrax spacers all around. What size tire are you running? I really want to try 285’s on my stock off road wheels but so many conflicting reports as to whether or not they’ll rub. I don’t want to trim anything yet.

Man your truck sits right! Digging this look.

Ive been contemplating on going 275 or 285 was leaning towards 275 because I’m not trying to lift it too much I was just going to level the front and nothing more since it’s my daily driver for work BUT 285 looks so good on it.

Do you mind sharing the exact parts you went with?

I read where you said it barely doesn’t rub. So no rubbing on turns/reversing/ full lock or flexing? I’m on 265/70/17s right now on FN pro wheels at stock suspension and like the fact where I can drive on highway and hit some pretty large bumps where the suspension flexes and don’t have to worry about it rubbing. Was just curious on your experience.

Looks like you still have all 4 mud flaps on there too!

    Anyways thanks in advance!

The rear sits .75" higher than front measured from center caps

Thanks! I'm happy with how it turned out.
I went to put the diff drop in but I think I have to cut the skid plate bracket on the drivers side. So I'll grab a few cutting discs and throw it in tomorrow.

Before and after pictures of lift...

Bilsteins 5100 all around. I said to put on the 4th perch but I'm not sure if they did. I also did the toyota tech 1.5" Add a leaf. Parts total was about $500 and Desert Rat Off-Road has the 5100s in stock and on sale. I did not do any other mods...no diff drop, 1/4" spacer, etc....Stock I was 35.5" in front to fender and 37" in back to fender. I am now at 36.9" Front and 38.25 in the rear. The rake is fairly close to factory still and no visibility issues. No vibrations on the freeway and no taco lean that I've noticed. Overall I'm pretty pleased with it. Now to add some 275/70/17s on SCS SR8's and I'll be right at 2.5" taller then stock which was my target. I really couldn't tell the difference on the ride home either...seems very nice. I think I like the ride a little better actually...the Bilsteins are better then the factory shocks.

Thanks! Honestly you were the inspiration to do the 5100s after seeing your posts several times. Even did the Toytech add a leaf since I thought that is what you said you did.

    Thanks man!

If you are on the fence about 275 or 285, just get 285s. You’ll end up buying them eventually because they are the perfect size. I had 265s before and then just got 285s 6 months later. Plus you can get 285 KO2s in C rating so they are not as bad on gas mileage.

It didn’t rub around town but it did while flexing and in reverse turning. I ended up removing the spacers and swapped the OEM mud flaps for RekGens. Now it doesn’t rub at all. The 4Runner TRD wheels I have are ET4 so that also helps a lot for not rubbing.
