    Have you ever used it as a stand-alone anchor? As in a solo vehicle is stuck and has nothing to winch off.

    Self recover = Yes

    That is what it is for. If you have a winch you can use this as your anchor to winch your self out. It is perfect for sand, mud & snow.

Painted switches black, painted hood scoop, black center console and overhead console. Black wheels! Red calipers.
    What you guys think about a home made tow/recovery strap made out of 1/2 inch aircraft cable some heavy duty metal thimbles to reinforce the loops at the ends, nicropress clips to hold loops in place and some heavy d rings or shackles if you like calling them the right thing. lol it ends up to being about $25 buck if you have the right tools. Thinking about doing it, what you think?

    Not to bad maybe three pounds or four pounds.
    If its heavy ill go with 3/8 that make it lighter. Only about thirty feet long at most.

    Thats what I think. A little bit thicker than a winch cable so I think it will work ill let you guys know
