I believe around $15k new. We got ours as a leftover the next year for $10k. The dealer was local with great service and that kinda sealed it for me.
I understand there are some nice ones in the $3500- $8000 range depending on what options you get and some made on the East coast also I believe . Hiker, turtleback idk there’s a bunch. I will admit maybe I could have shopped a little more but we were happy with what we found and it gave us a nice platform to start with

I like the WeeRoll trailers, a nice starting point for a DIY. I think they are out of Florida.

No question. I just browsed through the build and i like what im seeing.

Context would be that Me and my Wife are 26, so we can afford to rough it a little bit lol

I've considered the Hiker brand but i thought they were in CO. ?

@McRib this looks to be the benchmark of what we're looking for right here!

And you will love the convenience of being able to store all your gear inside. Plus when you want to go somewhere you can just get in the truck and go without having to break camp. The only extras we got were the kitchen box and AC but didn’t pay more for them they came with it.

This is a big selling point for me.

So many times we wake up with the weather taking a shit on us and we gotta break camp in the rain and get wet tearing the tent town and setting up breakfast.

this'll eliminate some of that stress immensely on top of just parking the trailer and going off offroading. I hated getting back early to setup camp for the night.

Yeah I’m not sure where all the brands are made really. Oregon trailers is another good brand to look at.
My wife and I have camped for a long time. In my 50’s way th some health issues I just wasn’t tent camping anymore although we enjoyed the simplicity of it. Our girls are grown and gone and we wanted to get beck out there and enjoy the outdoors. We paid the house off and this was our celebration gift. It is now completely self sufficient providing its own power to run the fridge and my CPAP. We use a Green Elephant for a bathroom/ shower. I know it’s not for everyone. It’s too fancy or too basic depending on your outlook but it suits our needs. Hell I enjoy modding it more than the truck.

When we leave to come home everything is stowed in the camper unless it’s been raining and the awning or pop up are wet they go in the truck.
When we get home I unload everything, blow out the interior with the compressor and load back up it takes about 45 minutes and it’s basically ready to go again. If stuff gets wet I do let it dry first

TBH we spend very little time in the camper. Pretty much just sleep in it. It’s there though in case the weather is bad enough we can climb in and play cards

Cam I am deffinately not one of the folks on here that says “this is what you need” or “this is what you should do” I am a firm believer in each person finding what suits their needs best. Only the individual knows that.
Hell, I’m just tickled to death for @McRib with what he’s getting. He doesn’t like talking to me anymore though :D

Sorry I missed this, it's a very heavily modified harbor freight trailer.
