Does anyone know what the letter after the model number means? I finally got a build sheet and it is listed as a '7545G'. I know 7545 means DC SB OR Manual Transmission, but I don't know what the letter means. I had a previous build sheet given to me and it was listed as a '7545A'. I tried to send a message to the salesman, but he didn't reply.

    Thanks.

The letter indicates a production period. A 7545A was built awhile ago compared to a 7545G. Usually when the letter switches over the MSRP and invoice go up a little.

I've been wondering the same thing. The info that I always have had stated 7542A for TRD Sport DCSB Auto. That was the number on my build sheet. Yet when my truck came in it lists the model no. as 7542G. I've had a bunch of new Tacoma's but I don't ever remember it as 7542G. I was wondering what changed as well?

When you "ordered" it, they were in the A production period, by the time yours was built they were in the G production period.

It actually depends on what exactly you're looking at, because A stands for "allocation" F is "freight" and G stands for "ground" status. The car's status flips at each milestone. So depending where you're seeing that letter it could simply be the status check.
