Do you know what offsets? Also do you have a pic of it from the front looking back. I want to see how far the wheels stick out.

    Thanks.

The bolt on rock rings are optional and do not come with the wheels. They run $64.00 per pair (sold in pairs only) in both 16" and 17".

We don't sell accessories on our site just yet. You'll need to phone in your order for the rings. The product code for the 16" ring is 87263.

    Discount Tire Direct,

The ZX comes with caps right when I buy the tires? Also, can you give me the lug nuts number for online. When I price the wheels, it just gave me a chrome set as an option. I want black.:D

Center caps are included with the wheels for FREE. Like the rock rings though, you'll have to phone the order in to add black lugs to the order. The product code is 86430.

    Discount tires direct,

I am able to view many pics with guardian wheels with the following spec 17X8.5 6-139.7 -6 and have an idea on how far it sticks out.

For the ZX wheels with 17x9 -12 offset, does the ZX wheels stick out more than the wheels of the guardian wheels? Would the ZX wheels 17x9 with 0 offset be closer to the Guardian?

Yes, the 17x9 -12mm offset ZX will stick out about 1/2" further than the Guardian. The 17x9 0mm offset will sit the same on the outside but the inner edge of the wheel will be 1/2" closer to your suspension.

17x9 with offset 0 (level 8 zx) & 265/70/17 should work on stock SR5 Prerunner suspension?

Yes, a 17x9 0mm offset Level 8 ZX should work on your SR5 with stock suspension and a 265/70R17. If you plan to lift it and install a 285/70R17 in the future the -12 may be a better offset.

I got the rim/tires installed yesterday and noticed a vibration of the steering wheel on the freeway at 65-70 mph.

DT balanced the tires but I installed it myself at home. I dealt with many aftermarket rims myself before.

I bought the hub rings but didn't use it since the ZX wheel has cap that is used to center the wheel.

Any recommendations? I will check the tire pressure after work and maybe ditch the cap and use the rings to see if the issue is still there.

I was contemplating in the gray if I liked it or not
But I like it so far I just wanna flip the black letters out on the tires
Awesome wheels and are fairly light

You could try a few things, you could bring them back to one of our store and we can balance them again for you. You could also try installing them again at home with or without the hub rings. Hub rings only help you center the wheel during installation. Once they are torqued down properly hub rings don't carry any load.

Looks great. I like color actually. There's so many black wheels out now that its nice to see something a little different.

Problem solved. I tested the hub rings for the fronts wheels and the shaking of the steering wheel went away. I then removed the hub rings and reused the caps that came with the rims. This time, I noticed the edges of the cap has some 3 spots (by design for a tight fit) that stick up a little bit. I used a hammer and knocked them down a little so it would sit flush to the hub. I ended smashing one too hard and bent one but was able to fix it.

Lesson learned, do not work on stuff during the night time and weekday :). Sorry for the bad pics since the rims are dark.

The rims are Level 8 ZX 17x9 0 offset with stock tire 265/65/17. The tires stick out about one finger pass the fender.

I did not transfer the tpms over. I am second guessing myself now. Does the sensor from the 16" steelies work in the ZX wheels?

I read it has a different angle vs the alloy.

What you read is correct. The sensors out of the factory steel wheels will not fit the ZX valve hole because of the angle. You'll either have to purchase new sensors or run your factory sensors on a band and bracket system (straps the sensor to the barrel of the wheel). The band and bracket system runs $44.00 and covers all 4 corners.
