What would be the best option for someone who is using their truck as a daily driver? A lift? 3"? Or level that shit out? Does it really matter? What's better?!

    Not a 3" lift let's start there.

Leave it stock or maybe level the front by lifting with adjustable coilover type assembly such as the Bilstein 6112. See my sig below with a link to a write up I did on that. If you really want a lift all-around I would not lift more than 2"

if you're not anticipating a lot of suspension travel and don't mind a stiffer ride, level that ish!

I like where you're going with this. Really it's all due to me wanting to get a rims and bigger tires on her. Just want a more aggressive stance/look. Wont take her off road or anything. Basically "all show... no go" lol

It's nice to hear someone openly admit it.

I'm reading around here that 255 85 16 or 255 80 17 fit on OE wheels no rubbing, no lift required. If you use the tire calculator you'll see that is a pretty tall (33"?) tire. Fills the wheel well nice. Looks hawt.

But I think that size only comes in an E rated tire. Very tough, but not particularly pavement queen friendly. Unsprung weight is bad.

The key to this combo is 2 fold. 1 is the tire is slightly narrower than what most folks choose. The other is the OE wheel is the perfect backspacing/offset combo. So, if looking for aftermarket wheels, close to OE spec is a good shopping goal.
