With all 4 Bilsteins my truck rides much better than the stock stiff Sport shocks

I replaced all 4 corners with 5100's about 10 months ago and used the stock coil springs. At the time my truck was level however now it sits nose high about 3/4". I measured before i put the fronts at the 3rd notch and after. I don't carry a bunch of stuff in the bed which tells me the stock leaf springs blow. My local Toyota dealership is telling me that it's normal settling and since i have a tonneau cover that is adding extra weight to the back. The covers weighs 50 lbs max. I'll be replacing stock POS springs with OME Dakars in a couple months since the bro lean is driving me crazy! That should give me about a 1" rake.

Mine is still level after 7 months with only the bilsteins. I don't haul often but have moved a full load of furniture a few times.

2nd notch (or whichever one was) at 0.65. Don't remember but went by the instructions for 0.65 and it is perfectly level.

    Question:
Are the coil springs the same throughout each trim of tacomas? Sr, sr5, trd sport, trd offroad, and limited.

Anybody running the 5100's with OME 888 coils and the headstrong 3 AAL? I'm wondering what notch y'all would recommend for the 5100's? Also, what amount of lift did y'all achieve while keeping the truck level? Im in a 16 4x4 OR DCSB.

Nice! Thanks for the info, did you keep the overload leaf in addition to the headstrong 3 AAL and the truck sat pretty level?

I took mine out ..the truck looks level , but it's a hair higher in the rear . Been pretty happy with it . Probably going to get a Dakkar leaf pack at some point .

Anyone installed these on a limited with the 18" rims and stock or slightly larger tires? Curious to see how it looks and hear if there was any improvement in ride quality. Thanks

sortof stock. 6112/5160, pro wheels and a tune.
mine is at 1.1, nothing in the rear. I had a single deaver, but i had some vibes that i couldnt get to go away. I pulled it today. Truck sits dead level, but I'd prefer alittle rake. Im sure if I popped the cap off I would gain a 1/2" back, since the springs are so soft.IMG_4021.jpg

I ordered 1/2inch block from Toytec , that’ll be having installed next week. To put a little rake back. I’m sure those will work for you

    Hi,

I was looking to get the following setup and set it at .85

Would this give me a full 3 or close to? Attached is what I was going with. Decided on 888 since seemed to get a little more height out of it.
