I am considering having a 3 inch leveling kit installed on my 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 (Long Bed, with 17 inch wheels). I have pocket style fender flares already on my truck and want to put the biggest tires I can on it, with a 3 inch leveling kit, that will also give me a wider looking stance. What would be the biggest tires I could put on my truck with this leveling kit. Please give me some guidance and recommendations. Thanks.

Sorry guys. I'm brand new here and didn't realize this had already been addressed. Looking through the threads now, hoping to find what I'm looking for.

OP theres more to it than how big of tires I can go with this lift. The short answer is 265/70r17 or a 255/80r17. With a cab mount chop, some trimming and possibly a custom alignment with some positive caster you could fit 285/70r17 but at that point you also need to consider Upper Control Arms to get the custom alignment. You also need to consider the backspacing of your wheels unless you are putting spacers on which at that point you definitely will need to trim your fenders. you also want to look into the ECGS clamshell bushing to minimize vibrations and descrease the risk of the needle bearing breaking. It's not a simple question. It has been covered quite a bit, I'm sure you can find more in-depth articles covering all these topics.
