ahhhh I see. I bet you actually have more of a 3" lift. Most of the guys that got that kit got 2.75 -3.5 of lift. If you measure from hub to fender I wonder what your measurement is.

I'm trying to decide on either a leveling kit or a 3" front and a 1" rear. I don't off road much at all (pretty much a pavement pounder). Just looking to add some height and larger tires.

Blackfoot- How does yours ride with the leveling kit?

To be honest, it still drives/rides nice. I initially was going to run Total Chaos uppers with Kings, but it would of been a waste of money for me since I'm a pavement pounder also.

I actually already took my flaps off last weekend... Was at the 4x4 shop earlier today and now I just have to decide which route I want to go. They have a pro-comp 3and 1 kit for $600 installed and a leveling kit for $350. Both include an alignment.

Hey kfletch, I am going through the same thing right know. I have a stock truck that I want to mod and I have a small budget to do it. I can only tell what i have been thinking of doing to my truck.
    1st
5100 bilstein level (i will do the frount first then the back when i have more money) add a leave in the rear (dont know if i will do this just because the bilstein level for the rear will compleatly level the truck remember if you level the frount first it will be a little higher than the rear). 15inch procome rockcrawler rims (cheep and strong) with 258s dont know what tire.
    2nd
would be a compleate 3inch lift but that is twice the amount as the level and i dont have the money, with the 3inch you could put on 33s but you might have to change your gearing (its kinda impractical for me because if I change some gears i would want to put in a locker and then the build is alot of money).
so pretty much i am aiming for the bilsten level, that build should cost around 800 where as the lift would be around 2-3000.
hoped this helped again i am new to this game so i don't know much, if anyone has info for me please tell me!
kfletch tell me what your thinking of doing.

I'm thinking of going with a 3 and 1 lift. Local shop here does the install with an alignment for $600. I know it's not coil overs but this truck will be mainly a pavement pounder. Thinking of doing that lift with some toyo open country AT 285/70/17's (33's) and gonna stick with the stock whes for now since I have the TRD sport rims that look pretty nice.

Yah kfletch you have to build it for what it's for and that makes sense. I want to do some easy trails and stuff. Send me pics when you get your truck set up. Good luck

you will be happy if you add do at least 1 inch for the rear, if it's just a block maybe even do 1.5. without the rear lifted a bit it will more than likely always look lower than the front.

Littlewhiteyota- Will do man. I have the money right now for the lift but I'm still trying to get the cash together for tires (don't want to buy the lift with not have the larger tires). Will def put up some pics when I get her lifted.

Would like to see yours when you get it done
