    Hello,

I am planning on going for a bigger tire on my 07 4x4 v6 245/ to 265/ and want at least a 1"-1.5" lift of them.

Does anyone have suggestions as far as AAL sizes go. If I buy the 1.5" level for the front then should I get a 2" AAL because it will settle?

Anyone with experience or pointers would greatly help.

Dont hesitate to show me pics of what you got!

If you want to do an AAL in the rear, look at a 3 leaf progressive AAL. These will ride much smoother than a single leaf. You can leave the overloads in and get 2", or take the overload out for a better ride and get 1.5". Wheelers/Icon/Toytec 3 leaf progressives are all the same.

Here is my lift thread using them:

So I went with a 1.5" spacer for the front and 2" toyo progressive AAL for the rear hopefully she doesn't sit too a$$ high.

Ill post pics in a week or two when she is done.

    Sorry,

The tires I have put on here are the Goodyear Wrangler Authorities @265/75r16. I read a thread on here where a guy tested them and posted results.

Reasonable price for good results. So far they make a little noise, but that is minimal compared to how she looks now. The ride on the tires are good so far. Ill follow up after the alignment is done.

I am going to attempt my first write up for the instillation of the progressive AAL, because I have not seen one throughout my extensive searching. Not that I am mechanically declined, but I like to know I am doing the right procedure. So I will post a link to it here if I can make it happen.

    Thanks again.
