I have a 16 off road 2wd with stock Bilstein 4600 (blue and yellow) with 265 70 16. Looking to throw 275 70 17 on but want the truck to sit a little higher. I was originally looking at 2.5-3" front and 2" back leveling kit. Mixed reviews online saying I will be fine with the stock shocks especially since I only drive 1 mile to work. Others say I should get Bilstein 5100s and new UCAs. I was hoping to just throw the 3/2 leveling blocks on and call it a day. Since my truck already has Bilstein 4600 on, will I be fine with just the blocks?

Plenty of people running around on blocks/spacers.

Your ride might be ruff but they work and are easy on the wallet. If you do go a full 3" in the front you might need UCA's to get your alignment in spec.

FWIW im running 265 75's on my stock 2016 TRD OR 4x4 suspension. You might not need the lift to fit your tire choice. Idk

Spacer lifts are fine. IMO. I HAVE a Supreme Suspensions 2.5 / 1.5. 15k on lift no problems. Alignment in spec. Choose a set up that best fits your needs. If I was going to off-road a lot. Then I would of spent 3k etc. on set up. I don’t so what’s the point. To each there own. Good luck.

Agreed. You dont need to ride around on kings and camburgs to pick up groceries. Im all for buying quality but sometimes you gotta be honest with yourself.

I have a TRD OR 4x4 with a 2" lift and am running 275/70r17's. There was rubbing at full turn on the stock mud flaps, so I took them off and put on Rek Gen XL mud flaps with Bushwacker fender flares. I didn't like that the stock fender flares didn't cover the roost from the larger wheels I have on and wanted to protect the paint. No rubbing with the new setup and I do take it off road/minimum maintenance roads that get fairly dicey depending on how much rain we've had. I have the BFG KO2's, E-Rated and they're great for that minimum maintenance road and dry road conditions. They're the worst tire I've owned for any kind of wet road/snow/ice conditions. Can't wait to replace them. There's just not a lot of good options in the 275/70/17 size, so you may want to go bigger/smaller. 265/75/16's for example. Or a +1 size wheel to an 18" and run 275/65/18.

Edited to add what it looks like for reference:

Here she is. Going to be going up to a 275/75/16 soon. 285’s will put to much strain on drivetrain. Just a FYI.
