Leveling Kit height for 285/65 R18

Hey guys.

I just purchased some new XD rims and 285/65 R18 nitto ridge grapplers. Next thing I have to do is put a leveling kit on my Tacoma.

I have a 2017 TRD Off-Road.

I have been leaning toward just the 2.5 leveling in the front but my question is do you think the tires will rub?

Should I get 3 in the front, 1 in the back?

I figured someone would probably have more experience than me! Any advice would help thanks!

Depends on offset of the wheels more than likely

 

backspace and offset are a factor, so is caster and lift. chances are a cmc and moderate trimming for those. however if you go 265/70/18 the width changes to 10.4, so cmc and trimming will be minimized.

 

Also can’t do a 9 inch wide wheel on a 265. Caster can be corrected with a good alignment.

 

and a pair of UCA's depending on amount of lift.

I run 285/70/R17 and it comes close to rubbing on a 3 inch lift so you might need to do some cutting and possible Cab Chop
