So your suspension setup is FAIL PROOF! And there is NO situation that it would not work well for.... Interesting. Please give full specs and cost detail. I have that credit card info from the earlier post I'm gonna share so we can all have the ULTIMATE setup!

I will be the first to admit, I wanted the multi shock long travel set up from hell. Did the research, listened to these experts on TW, learned a few things and did a coilover, with control arms on a budget. Truck takes me where I want to go, and never had a problem with my suspension in over 30K miles now. That's why I spent just a little more than the cost if a spacer lift and the repairs your going to end up with.

Thats called using your noggin =)

    I did the same.

I would suggest coilovers, upper arms and a addaleaf for the OP as well.

To be honest I would feel like a dip-shit installing spacers and blocks on my brand new truck. But thats just me.

Didn't sound like he was telling you what you need. Sounded like a opinion!! Maybe an aggressive opinion, but nothing more!!!

Personally I do not. I drive a 1st Gen. it adds character.

At the same time, I try to avoid damaging my rig when wheeling. I would imagine having a great suspension setup helps with this.

Trucks get scratches my friend. It happens. It will happen too your brand new 3rd gen one day.

Geez louise I love the die-hards on here. I'm totally serious when I say that - they truly mean well, but for a 2.7L 4x2 with little to no off-roading, spacers are just fine and let no one tell you different. I had them for 6 years on my 2002 Prerunner. No problems whatsoever and I did light overland stuff in it.

However, to take the very happy medium route, I recommend spending $150-200 more bucks and getting Bilstein 5100's all around (and if you want to use the 2" setting on the Bilsteins, add a 1" block for the rear). Easy install for the DIY person or cheap install for a shop.

I have the 5100's on my 2017 TRD OR and am very happy with them both on and off-road.

Translation.... You went with the suspension setup to fit your driving needs. Isn't that what I said I did all along??? You folks crack me up with the "it's my way or the highway" thinking on suspension mods.
