My 2016 Tacoma is still sitting on its stock suspension at 89K miles.

Trying to decide if a 2.5 front 1.5 back leveling kit is a good idea vs just getting new suspension for the lift.

Would it be a bad idea to add a leveling kit on my truck due to its age/mileage or would it be smarter to just update the suspension all together?

I do light off roading and it’s my daily.

    Any feedback is appreciated!

I have the same lift on my 2016 Sport 4x4 since 2018. Have had absolutely no issues with it. The ride is a little rougher, but otherwise all has been good. Got mine from Rough Country.

I have to say that I was skeptical when I bought my lift/suspension upgrade because there is SOOOOO much info on this site. I was worried I was going to buy something and be pissed because the ride would be too rough for daily driving, etc. But I am very happy with the Bilstein 6112/5160 setup with the 6112s set at #9/#7 (1.4" lift). Coming from the stock OR setup, this is a nicer ride.

I guess it all depends on how much money you want to spend. I have the Bilstein 5100’s all around and the Icon AAL in the rear and I’ve been very happy.

    Too much to list
Suspension. 10000000%. I went from a leveling kit to a pretty serious lift kit (Icon Stage 8 with 2.5 RR shocks) and the ride quality and feel was well worth the money.
