Got 2in kit. Talked to local 4x4 shop was told only about 2 of 10 trucks actually need allignment after. ?? Also headlight readjustment? Would such a small lift require this?

    Headlights should be fine.

However, I would definitely get a front end alignment. I had a 2.5" leveling kit installed when I first lifted my truck and the alignment needed some adjustment. Your better off at least having them check it.

If you lift the front end 2" and do nothing to the back end, how would the headlights be fine? You'll probably be able to see fine yourself but you'll be aimed into oncoming traffic... you should re-align your headlights if you affect the factory rake of the truck.

Also, that 4x4 shop should know better. You can drive without re-aligning but you could end up chewing up your tires so in the end it'll cost you more money. An alignment is a good idea anytime you mess with the front suspension components.

I would do an alignment just to play it safe, I mean why not right? Better safe then sorry. Headlights just mess with those yourself. They are super easy to adjust to your likings and not to blind oncoming traffic. Might want to adjust your fogs to but your should be okay down there.
