I have been looking at leveling kits for my 06 4X4 and have seen spacer kits from 1.5" to 3". I want to get a little more offroad look without compromising the durability of the parts in the front end. What is the best size leveling kit and are the kits worthwhile or should I get new struts to get the desired lift? I want to also get a little bit bigger tires without spending too much, I'm sure everyone can relate to my tight financial situation.

    Thanks

Welcome to TW. Most here like the Bilsteins 5100 shocks. Spacers will give you a harsh ride. I guess it also depends on how big of tires you want to fit. Search here and you will find trucks to your liking and you can get an idea what lift each are running with the look you are after.
