Probably just a typo but Pratt's character carried a 1895SBL.IMG_20201212_091030_796.jpg

I did mine up similar but slightly different. They discontinued the silver Leupold so I got black, and I wanted low mount rings instead of the see through ones.

Those SS lever guns are so hard to find right now. My buddy has one at his shop he want's $4k. Doesn't care if anyone buys it because he want to keep it.

it was a typo and I have the silver leupold waiting in a box somewhere - snagged one on ebay a year or two back before they went off the market

Just picked up a mint Ruger #1 in 45-70. I'd say it's "lever" action. :D

it's a joke, there was a pic a few years ago on twitter, some snowflake took a pic of an orange ear-plug saying that the police or whoever were using rubber bullets.

gotsomethingfun recently, a Japanese 'Winchester' 357 lever, ironically imported by Browning. It is a thing of beauty, museum display quality. The American walnut is stunnning, the picture does not do it justice. The metalwork is perfect with the butt-plate fit being done amazingly well. The only flaw is with the color-case hardening at the takedown joint as there was some final machining heat damage that took away the finish. It is visible in the picture, no big deal. It shoots perfect out to 100 yards or so with a soft 158g XTP or a 'smokin 125g. It's a tiny little thing pictured here with a GI 1911 but there is plenty of steel in the octagon barrel. These are the only two firearms I shoot (and reload for) these days out on the BLM other than 20g upland

$1600 for the rifle NIB from my local Packistani arms dealer. They are going for $2200 on Gunbroker (!)

I want a lever-action so badly. Been eyeballing an Uberti 1873 in .44-40 for years now.

I've debated .357 as well for the sake of plinking .38s, but the .44-40 is so classic I almost feel obligated.

    Did someone say 44-40?

This one belongs to my in-laws, hoping one day I’ll get to use it. Made in 1900, original Winchester 1873.

Some nice rifles here. Couple buds in the army bought the Marlins in 444 and 45-70. I had a Rem. 700 30-06 back then. Kept an eye out for a Marlin 45-70 but dang they bring a pretty penny.
Now have an old 30-30 that friend found in a storage unit when I was helping him move for the second time in a year. It was behind the garage door railing in the corner. He doesn't hunt and gave it to me. A bit rusty but cleaned up ok. Hard part was find ammo for it.
