Uh no, that’s MSRP! You’re paying over 100. Premium vehicle mark up, super-awesome wheel package, so-so sound, sticker package, and unicorn dust.
You’ll pay it and be happy to give your left nut to do it.
Have you heard about Toyota financing?

this is the engine the 3rd gen tundra is getting. the v35a-fts. blocks a fair bit different from the 2gr.

but i wouldn't be surprised if it damn near bolts into a 3rd gen taco frame and bolts up to the 6 speed manual..

Yes...though it is a 60° block, it is quite different in some important areas. It's been strengthened a fair bit to cope with the added charge pressure from forced induction and heat related to that.

Except with the torque numbers it twists out it would candy-cane our balsa wood frames in about 2 seconds

The 2gr is a 60 degree. At least I could of sworn it was. I know Toyota has a new diesel v6 that’s a 90 degree but the v35a should be a 60 too. I’ve had quite a few 2grs to play with. But never had an c35a out yet

Sorry if I wasn't clear. All GR engines are 60° V's....as was it's predecessor, the MZ series.

60° V6's are inherently better balanced than 90° 6's and make for better packing (slimmer).

Most 90° V6's are typically V8's that have had 2 cylinders removed. Makes for a quick design. However, they are inherently unbalanced and their NHV charitistics are poor.

Car and driver refers to the LS500 non hybrid as 3.4L on their site, but everywhere else I've seen it as 3.5.

Yes...90° V's, because of the way they fire, space out the exhaust pulses. Your ear tends to interpret that space as "throaty" or "deeper".

60° V's have close exhaust pulses. Your ears hear those tight pulses as more "buzzy" or "drony".
