Anyone drive Lexus NX? Some say it’s based on Toyota RAV4 …..

Is it a good alternative to say BMW X3 or MB GLC ?

In terms of quality, it's a great vehicle and all you'd expect from a Lexus, and it certainly cheaper to maintain than any German vehicle. However, if you have kids I would not recommend getting one. My neighbor's wife went from a 2016 Jeep Cherokee to a 2019 Lexus NX when the lease was up on the Jeep; She almost leased an RX, but decided she liked the look of the NX better. She quickly regretted this decision because the NX is deceptively small and not ideally suited for someone with three kids. Her husband replaced his leased Dodge Durango with a used late model Ford Expedition and negated the need for wife's car to have lots of space; She wanted something with a cheaper monthly payment, and she was offered a ridiculous amount of money to buy her out of her lease, so she leased a tiny little Buick Encore which actually has more headroom than the Lexus. She's not particularly fond of the Buick, but it's also a lease and cheaper than the Lexus.

I’ve looked at them in the past. The backseat seems a little small. Remember that this vehicle takes premium gasoline.
