I have a 2011 Tacoma which means I have remote to lock and unlock the doors and a key for the ignition. My wife's IS has the key and the remote as a single unit. Can I get something like this for the Tacoma? I have enough crap on my keychain so consolidating the two into one would be better for me.

My wife's corolla has everything on the key, I would like to find this out also.

Not the answer you were looking for but consider a Keyport to help consolidate your keyring. Here is a $5.00 off coupon code as well.

    Code:
    HLDYWKND5
Here is mine with the factory fob attached before I had my alarm installed. Holds five keys plus the engine immobiliser chip. If you don't need a place for that many keys they offer alternatives such as a small LED light, USB flash drives, and a bottle opener, all interchangeable.

    I drive a civic...
I was actually going to post about the possibility of this....

Are the keys with the built in remote programmable to work for a Tacoma? I'm not familiar with the Toyota theft deterrent systems but I can't imagine its THAT much different between all the vehicles.

Anyone work at a dealership or have friends that you could ask?? Definitely interested. :p
