Yeah I did that when I did the foglight conversion about a year ago, so the only electrical I had to do was for the new floodlights!

Hmmm I might enlist your help with that electrical. I'm getting new head and corner lights soon and need to make them blinkers :fistbump:

Got crazy with the plasti-dip the other day. Blacked out some badges and dipped the whole chrome piece on the front.

Still have to re-do a couple of the rear badges and the "SR5" ones on my B-pillars, but so far it's looking pretty clean!

Did some wheeling in Lake Elsinore yesterday with a buddy in his YJ. Awesome trail, the other driver said my rear tire came about 3 feet off the ground a couple times just because those ruts had me flexing so much!

Did a trip to Black Mountain in Ramona. Fun trail but did a number on my tie rods, so now I'm leaking a bit of grease from those :bananadead:

I should probably do my ball joints anyways so I guess I'll do a bit of work on that area soon.

Yep, ball joints are going. Haven't driven the truck all week, but I got it on jacks today to look underneath, and sure as hell

    IMG_0131.jpg

Grease leaking from the LBJs and outer tie-rods. I also see some grease on the accordion boots for my inner tie-rods so they're probably ready to be replaced also. Better that than my whole steering rack

On the plus side, my new Tundra brakes are holding up wonderfully! Been about 3/4s of a year and there's almost no signs of abnormal wear on the pads or the rotors!

Finally got the ball joints and outer tie rods taken care of. They were a bitch to pull but once I had the right tools it was all good. Got everything buttoned up and in another 100 miles I'll re-torque everything and be good as new!

Time for an alignment and a car wash!

Truck's aligned and back on the road!

    IMG_0449.jpg

Gave her a wash too, because I haven't washed the truck since I went wheeling in Ramona like a month ago ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Just an update:

    Door handle broke

    IMG_0963.jpg

So I got a new one and fixed it

    IMG_0962.jpg

Also I rigged up a license plate thing because I've been seeing a lot of CHP lately and don't want to get tagged for no front plate

Labor Day weekend some SoCal peeps drove up to Sedona for a bit of overlanding, so we did 2 days of camping up here in the area

Big thanks to YotaGurlIAm for putting it all together! Had a blast and I'm definitely doing some of those trails again!
