License plate mounting trouble

    Exactly part of my reasoning for fixing it. I don't need to worry about what you describe yet a traffic stop would definitely slow me down unless Uncle Ted was the local sheriff.

    Blocking airflow is almost never a good idea. I was just trying to bring that up in a nice way, hoping the poster would have a 'yep' moment.

    blocking airflow is only good if you’re in subzero temperatures and want your truck engine to stay warm for better cab heating!

    Hummm, you may have something there - pretty big grill - so . . . . but I really don't know for sure but people do put all kinds of badges etc. on the grill. But yeah maybe no a good idea.
