License plate plug

So i searched and couldnt find where to buy the plastic plugs that you put in the holes after taking off the front license plate. I remember seeing them on here somewhere. any help guys?

Almost cant see it, my girl is from VA and I'm from IL and we both have front plates on but live in NC...so I was thinking about getting the plugs for both of our cars once we switch to NC, but that looks great too

any close-ups?

 

With you living in Cali I'd be careful about not running a front license plate. Even with the plugs in most states its illegal. Here in NV, even if your vehicle doesnt come with predrilled holes.....on most vehicles there is a tiny indent that you can barely see with the naked eye where the holes should be drilled and if it has those indents its illegal to run without a front plate.

 

Get them from Home Depot or lowes for about a dollar. Then just color match them.

Thanks ... the dealer had it mounted in the red .... I let it go for a few weeks and said what the hell ... I cut, filled in and painted ... all I could do if I screwed up the holes were to use bigger screws. I think it turned out well ... I don't even see where they were ...

On my last tacoma the dealer supplied color matched plugs.

 

Bought Color Matched Keyhole Plugs, here on TW, before their website was up and running.
Installed my Keyhole Plugs May 2011
They are still in and Color still matches
They sell Color Matched Bumper Plugs for 12 Bucks.

Didn't even bother to paint them, not that noticable on the MGM anyway and looks better than holes

 

I know this is old but the website is still up and just ordered some bumper plugs price is up to $14 but way better than bumperplug.com and they color match as well. Thank you and hope other that have moved their plate can use this as well.

 

Bumper plugs, pricey but worth it.
