License plate swapping thread mixed with signs and whatever else

There are two older CA plates in my pics one is a black background yellow letters it is a trailer plate, it’s rare to find one. the other is a gold with black letters from 1938 it is a front plate with no stickers. I found these plates at garage sales and they are trade bait.

the other cool ca plates are the whale tail personalized plates they are expensive to order and people don’t give them up.


All available except for the ones I mentioned on the picture post. I’m looking for cool plates not trying to get over on anyone.

Cool plate, I may have to eBay and bite the bullet, one of those I didn’t know I needed it till I saw it things.

 

I've seen one years ago back in the old country. I also looked them up on EBAY recently for giggles...

Update: found 4 more that were set aside for another project........ old tags from kids cars I'll frame up for their garage walls.

 

Saw a vintage license plate in antique shop...$100 was just plain jane from 60s

 

There is absolutely no profit built into that at all

 

I haven't received anything as of yet. I was intending on asking you if there was a tracking number.

I think this puts me at 23 or 24 different states. Not bad me thinks for just 3 to 4 months of collecting. It's been fun looking for them.

 

So it only took 6 months, but I finally hung what little collection I have in the new garage...
