License Plates

i have a nova scotia one you can have if you wanna pay to ship it to ya.

 

Not to thread jack, but I have more Colorado plates if anyone wants to trade. PM me so not to muddle up this thread. Alaska, Hawaii, and "specialty plates" get first nod.

 

I have one the one I'm sending sitting with envelope and everything, just need to get to the Post Office to ship it out.

I used to collect plates...till i ran out of room, now theres just a huge stack of nj plates sitting in the corner from various vehicles I've had over the years

 

My friend told me he'd only buy my car if it came with my custom plates I had made..they said BEER NE1. I miss them.

 

Hang them in the garage or something!

heres my collection. I always think about picking up the license plates I find in the woods, but then I think about what it could have possibly been used for, and decide I better not pick it up. lol

I found one plate in the woods I kick myself for not picking up..It was the size of a license plate, but it had a map of the US on it. There was a spot to put stickers over every state who ever owned that plate, went to.

 

I've seen those on campers before. I'd definitely get one if I had a camper.

 

Actually, I go enough places in my truck, I should just get one anyways.

 

hey thats cool i collect plates too. i have old ones from California, Pennsylvania, and two states in Mexico, Michoacan and Guanajuato. They sell old ones on ebay.

 

I saw 1929 California plates for $400!!!

 

o nice i was cleaning the garage the other day and found an old new mexico and oregon license plates let me dig them up forgot where i put them but ill try to find them for u.

I also collect license plates. When I last counted I had around 70 of them...Old ones new ones, College ones, Conserve wild life from Missississi and Tx. But I don't have a Arizona one, Nor a Wyoming...I'd love to have one of those.

 

If you don't mind me asking, where did you find such a variety?

 

You look around antique stores, People you know just give them to you. I got alot of them at Swap meets, Car shows. My Grandparents lived in several states through out their life. They kept the plates on their cars...So I got alot of them that was...I got the conserve wildlife (Miss.) one off my grandpa's Tahoe.
