some elderly retired dude volunteered to lead me off into the Pacific Ocean. we are targeting Rockfish, and LingCod (fingers crossed!!)

am I nervous? yup!! I grew up in the desert and I regret watching JAWS as a young kid. hahah.. I'm rational, I'm adult..I know that is ridiculous

but my kayak is ready!! weather is favorable. swells/waves manageable. I have a rod/reel, and I have lead sinkers that are so damn heavy compared to my bass fishing gear. this stuff looks like cannon balls!! (I exaggerate_)

he said the magic words, "make sure you bring a big ice chest and plenty of ice"....
