This. But I think the OP will like the ride of the Sport on the road since he doesn't plan to do any serious offroading. There are decent amount of people who complain the the suspension of the offroad is too soft on the slab.

Oh definitely not knocking the pilot. Just don't like the look of the Ridgeline. I still have my '13 Pilot. Drives like a champ!

Tacoma's have their fair share of problems,do a LOT of reading BEFORE you buy one.

Definitely will do. There is a wealth of information on this forum, and have already started reading through some of the threads.

Not anymore than others vehicles...thanks to global parts sharing...unless you're buying a Porsche or a Lexus ...those rank highest on dependability list.

Haha, rriigghhhttt. Good luck with that if you plan to continue on this forum. I've done more than I thought I would so far after having my Sport for just over a year.

My family always had Hondas; 3 gens of accords, Odyssey, and 2 CRVs. I personally had a manual accord too and now have a manual Tacoma (wife also has a Highlander), it's not the same but I still love driving it everyday and learning about all the cool mods for pickups. Get a MANUAL!

Peer pressure is a hell of a drug. Fortunately I have the antidote - being a cheap motherfucker.

The wife will keep me in check in that department for sure :D

I've actually looked into possibly getting one in a manual. My last car was a 2011 Accord 5spd. I miss the hell out of driving one. The only caveat is they seem to be rare, at least at the dealerships around here.

Love my MT, its a joy to drive every single time. Comes with 4.30 rear end too, vs 3.90 in ATs.

My AT has factory stock 4.30 gears.

    It needs them ;-)
