This a true story. When I was a junior in highschool, I asked the dean if I could bring in 2 guns from WWII for a display of, well weapons from WWII. I graduated in 1991 ,so this was 1990. He said yes, with the option he could make the guns inert, aka take the WHOLE BOLT. We were on the topic of WWII by the way. On said day I took them from my trunk, to the deans office, he sid dont worry about removing parts, I took an M1 and a M1 Carbine to my class and gave a lesson on what American auto makers/ industry leaders could do in the event of war. They made guns.....I got an A Replaced the guns in my trunk of my car and went home. Today that would cause national news.

thats insane. nobody cares at clemson if you have a knife. in fact, there are hunting clubs on campus and i'm pretty sure you can have a hunting rifle if you have permission.

We live in a country where even the losers get a ribbon :S The younger generations will grow up to be tree hugging @#(*@#(@. I remember the days when parents gave their 10 year olds a BB gun and I’m only freaking 30.

Wow. Which college do you go to?

I had a 12 gauge in my dorm the entire time. Boy times have changed.

    amen brother.

    I had a C02 powered pellet gun when I was 9.

My mom bought my friend and I tickets to Robocop on opening day when I was 11.

I am a perfectly normal adult with a great wife and 2 kids. Whats this world coming to.

Sucks to hear man. Times are changing. Kinda on reason I never lived in the dorms, I had two hand guns and an AK in college and I lived across the street from campus.

random question, do you know brittany killough? she is a runner at HP adn one of my friends.

but yeah, i carry mine all the time. and i use it all the time on campus. i sharpen pencils with it and at dinner if we have something meatlike i use it to cut the meat because the butter knives they give you cant cut for anything. i get some looks but nobody says anything. i even had campus police drive up on me and my buddy skinning squirrels in the lot and we both had like 3 knives out and our .22s and a bunch of dead squirrels and all he asked us was that we were going to check in the rifles before we went back to campus. i would say it is your tool and that you use it daily. if they say anything, ask if you can take the blade out of a pencil sharpener and use it instead
