So im interested in getting these but would like to hear what is everbodys take on them after buying them? I browsed the first few pages of this thread and everybody seemed excited about them, then i browsed the last few pages and saw that they are burning out, hard to install, etc. So are these worth the headache and money or should i just stay halogen?

For what it's worth I got sent a new on same day. I also found out the reason it went out was mostly my fault. I didn't tighten the clasp between the ballast and the bulb well enough. It allowed the IL harsh winter to corrode the connection. I attached the new one properly and inspected the other one that was properly sealed and that one looked normal.

FOR ANYONE WITH LIFETIME LED LIGHTS:

I have been noticing a Flicker with my Lifetime LED headlights so I emailed them. This is their responce:

We have recently discovered an issue with the CREE chips that are used in our H4
headlight replacements. We will warranty The H4 replacement but we can not use
the current chipset model that we have. The New chipsets will arrive in a couple
weeks and we will replace any defective H4 headlights with a new set. We are
sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but we want you to have the best
quality product. We will keep you informed on when they should be ready to ship.

That's good to know. I have a set of their H4 bulbs and love them. Haven't had any issues yet. But I did notice they were testing a newer, brighter led headlight bulb. It would be nice to be able to trade up. Thanks for the info!

Will their upgrades include the ability to throw usable light? I hope so, because my factory fog lights give me more light than these pieces of dog shit.

I'm pulling mine out and putting Silverstar Ultras in, then dumping the Lifetime's on eBay.

My 2011 throws a shit ton of light with them in. Definitely no problems here. And much better than silverstars and piaa.

Mine just suck. I get more pissed off every time I drive the truck with them on.

I think the biggest issue is that the color temp is too high. They seem to light up everything right around the truck, but the light doesn't penetrate at all.

Dude, same here. I have been running the headlight and fog light bulbs for months now and I have no complaints. I still go driving at night just so I can use my headlights. I love these things. :D

I've been looking at these for my wife 4Runner, but with the CREE issues, burn outs, I'll have to pass on these until they are more stable. Hoping the new batch does better than the old ones.
