I HAD A ROUGH COUNTRY 3/1 LIFT INSTALLED ON MY STOCK 2016 TRD-OFF-ROAD.

THE TRUCK LOOKED GREAT WHEN I PICKED IT UP BUT SADNESS SOON FELL WHEN I HEARD THE AND FELT VIBRATION UNDER THE DRIVER FLOORBOARD.
NEEDLE BEARING DUE TO ANGLE OF HALF-SHAFT I SUPPOSE.

SO I STARTED ASKING HOW MUCH TO REMOVE THE WHOLE DAMN THING. HE SAID HE WOULD LOWER IT 1" ALL AROUND AND WOULD PROBABLY SOLVE THE ISSUE.

??? WOULD YOU DROP IT 1" OR WOULD YOU JUST LEAVE IT. I WILL BE PUTTING IN THE ECBS BEARING EITHER WAY AND AS I CAN SAVE SOME MONEY REPLACE THESE LIFT PARTS WITH SOMETHING MORE SAFE LIKE 5100S OR SOMETHING. IM NEW TO THESE TRUCKS AND THE FORUM.

IF I LOWER 1" IT WILL BASICALLLY BE A LEVELING KIT. WILL I REDUCE PROBLEMS BY LOWERING IT A LITTLE???

??? DO THESE SPACER LIFTS ALWAYS CAUSE ISSUES. I DONT OFF-RAOD BUT NEED MY TRUCK TO BE DEPENDABLE AND WORK WHEN I NEED IT TO WORK.

THANKS FOR ANY ADVICE / HELP

I WOULD INSTALL A ECGS BUSHING AND SEE HOW IT GOES FROM THERE. SEARCH FOR ECGS ON THE FORUM TO SEE MORE.

Buy once and cry once, and you can do to much research before buying.

Everything I have read says the ECBS Bearing fixes the issue....even the tech that installed the lift

No need to apologize. Next time just post another reply, when a reply is posted the thread moves to the top of the section so you still get maximum views/input without having to start another thread for the same thing.

Are you leaving the stock tires on? If so throw it away as it looks better stock height, or maybe 1" levelling kit on stock tires. My opinion of course. Like the pro grill however.

Well then do the ecgs bushing and leave it be if you're looking to run 285's on aftermarket wheels.

    thanks to all for input.......
I just wonder if it would be less abusive to the truck if I lowered it an inch. I can run smaller tires. I don't want to damage my truck, just wanted a little nicer stance. it felt like a car to me but .....this was my previous truck
IMG_20140927_174215008_HDR.jpg so its all a bit new to me on the tacoma's
