I have a 2wd 2012 taco. I am thinking about lifting it 3 inches but i was wondering what lift you recommend and if it would look bad if i left the stock tires and rims on it for a little?

Most people will recommend a spindle lift for your prerunner. I am considering maxtracs myself. I dont know much about the ride characteristics but I'm sure someone around here does. Good luck.

Most everyone on here will probably recommend coilovers...either OME or Toytec or Sway-a-way or others. I'm personally waiting til I have enough saved up for new tires as soon as I get my lift, I think my 265s look small and I'm sitting stock :D

being an OME fapper, I'm gonna say go with OME full suspension, if you're going to use a plate bumper and winch, get the 886's, if not, get the 885's

Completely depends on what you will be doing with it and how much you have to spend. Is it just for looks? Rock crawling, desert/ sand at high speeds, low speed light trails?

If you are going for a full 3 inches of lift I would definitely recommend getting aftermarket upper control arms to get your alignment within the correct specs. Whether that be a ball joint UCA or Uni-ball, that is up to you. This recommendation is based on the fact that you would not be putting lift spindles on.
