Lift & Alignment Question

    18" tires and rims, 2.75" Procomp lift, Fox shocks in rear.
    I have a 2.75" lift on the front of my 5-lug, 2014 access cab with 265/60/18 wheels. As soon as I got my lift, I got an alignment and the result was a caster measurement of 4.5 on the left and 2.8 on the right, with the right side being out of spec. I'm assuming my steering will pull to the right???

    I did some research, but I'm still not exactly sure what it means and how severe the problem is. I even went back to the alignment shop to get them to explain it, but I got even more confused. Can someone explain it? Thanks.

    Caster is an easy number to understand. When I explain it to my techs, I have them think of a shopping cart and a motorcycle. I shopping cart with those goofy ass turning wheels up front is negative caster. If you push a shopping cart and let go, there is a good chance it will turn all of a sudden and get squirrelly. Now imagine a motorcycle. You can let go of the handle bars and it will go straight. Motorcycles have positive caster. This is the same concept on a vehicle. The more positive your caster is, the harder it is to steer. But will drive straighter. Negative caster will make you feel like your steering is real loose. Vehicles will pull more towards negative caster if the camber angle is even. I hope this helped. There are many websites that break it down real good. Just have to research.

    Your alignment will be off after the lift. I had fun when I went in for my alignment .....I played dumb and asked how was it. All the lower section in the sheet was red.

    20170401_220454.jpg Don't know if this will help you but, this was my allignment numbers after a 2" lift.

    Random: the tire size on the paper isn't correct. My truck has 30x9.5x15.
