Ok this is my first thread so try to hang in there with me.

I have a white 2009 Double cab TRD off road package. I have done the suspension TSB "adding another leaf" i am looking to get 18" Rockstar rims and i want BFG all terrains to wrap them.

What i don't know is how big of lift do i need / what would be the best kind of lift (suspension or body), i don't want super huge just enough. Can i just put adjustable billies on it? Also how big should the tire be? I don't want to have to cut much of anything, i know i will have to remove my factory mud flaps though. One more thing/ is there a certain size of 18" rockstar that i need?

    what brands are best?

    PLEASE HELP:eek:

Stay away from body lifts if possible. What kind of money are you willing to fork out. There are tons of options out there on suspension lifts. I would say that if you dont want anything to crazy to go for a 3" lift. Thats what most people are running for the most part. You can get the 5100's and adjust them to 2.5"s of lift and that should level you out with the rear TSB or you might even be a little higher up front. I would say go with 32" or 33" tires. Either way, minor trimming is involved but can easily be done with a Dremel. I have a 3" lift on mine running 18" rims with 32.5" tires.;)

Since you have a prerunner I recommend spindles. They cost about 1k but you'll also have less trimming to do.

Scratch that since then you'll need to spend money to lift the rear. Go with the Bilstein's WWF said.

Money really isn't an issue i just need to know what to get. I dont want to spend crazy money though, its just wheels tires and a lift:D. I have been thinking the 5100s would be the way to go but i dont want any sag whatsoever. I want the truck level.

I like your build how did you do the black head lamps?

Check out toyteclifts.com They have a good number of suspension lifts that will work with your rear TSB work. The OME and Ultimate lift from Toytec are highly recommended.

The black headlights you can do yourself. Look at this post #11. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/technical-chat/4838-cheap-free-mods.html#post45442

Or you can buy some aftermarket ones off of ebay for a descent price but the quality of them arent great.
