Hey guys, i am thinking about putting billy 5100 up front and setting them at 2.5 then get 285/70/17 tires. I was wondering if they would fit the stock rear suspension and if they would clear in the front with the billys??? BTW its and 09.

I'm not sure if it will fit or not, but it'd be mighty close. I'd recommend using an AAL because the first time you try and flex/articulate the rear suspension, the rear wheels/tires will probably tear your fender flares off or rub like crazy.

I'm runnin the same setup on my 07 except I have 285/75R16's which are so close it shouldn't matter. Ur gonna have to do some trimming if you can't deal with some rubbing. I had to take off the mud flaps which didn't hurt my feelings anyway and am going to have to do a body mount chop so they wont rub in reverse. I bound up the rear pretty hard the other day to the point where one side came off the ground and it didn't rub but it was within probably a half inch. If you hit somethin hard enough it might. All in all very streetable and with a little trimming you can run off road with very little trouble.

O and also if ur runnin stock wheels you may need wheel spacers. If ur going with aftermarket wheels ur going to need ones with a 4.5" backspacing or something extremely close to that.

In that case you might be ok with that setup but you'll still be close as far as the fit goes. Here are some pics of 285/70/17's on a stock setup, courtesy of johnw:

Those pics are with the TSB IIRC.

So 2.5" billys up front and 1 1/2" wheel spacers would probably do? I do not want to trim the frame or anything if i can help it.
