    i have a 2011 prerunner double cab and i want a 3" lift. As of now im looking to get the bilstein 5100s all around and up front set to 1.75. I will pair this with a 2" aal. Should i get new coils? Will it make any difference? My truck is at 98,xxx miles if that means anything, not sure if the coils have ever been replaced either as i got it at 95,xxx. Will i need new uca's or anything else?
    Now for tires. I love the KO2s no doubt, but i plan to stick with 16" rims. They only make the 265/75r16 in E load which is too thick of a tire. What are some other tire options not in E load that are rugged but great on road as this is my daily with little off-roading.

    Any help is appreciated thanks

    You might as well get new coils if you can afford them. But they're definitely not needed.

    You'll need UCA's for anything above 2.5-3" of lift.

    You can always do spindles like @ChadsPride Check out his build thread, it's very...uh...informative :rofl:

    I'd get new OEM coils. They can be had for as little as $50 on this forum.

    You won't need anything else except an alignment. My first lift was 1.75 up front and a 2" 3 leaf progressive AAL and it was all under $500, it was an excellent setup for the money.

    To really have a noticeable upgrade from that, you're in the $750 range. The next step up is $1250.

    So depending on your budget you seem to be on the right track.

    Sometimes, maybe.

    I'm on stock UCAs and have no alignment or tire wear issues.

    I'd recommend you buy those only if needed unless you have an extra $500.

    LR UCAs are adjustable, the ball joint is greasable and replaceable, they have better down travel than any other UCA I know of...AAAAANNND (ready for it?) They're the least expensive of the trusted UCA options.
