    Hey all,

Looking to lift my 04 Tacoma 4 door, and possibly upgrade the tires. I am new to this all this, but eager to jump into it! I've gone through and read various different forums on the topics and I think I know where I am wanting to head, but just want to get further tips.
I am wanting to do a 2-2.5 lift. My truck is my DD but I go camping, and the occasional off road excursion with the guys every other month or so. So not looking for insane performance, but something with good travel/lift for a good value. Currently from what I have read the Bilstein 5100 seems to get a lot of good feed back, combined with the OME coils. A lot of people saying use the OME 885 but max I am finding for my 04 is 883. So what I am currently looking at doing is:
    ---Bilstein 5100 fronts and back
    ---OME 883 coils
    ---Deaver 2" AAL
Let me know if I'm an idiot. Or if its a good layout that works too

Then tires. Currently running 265/70R16. This is where I'm even more newb. Is this a good size for the lift I am looking at? Can I go bigger without rubbing at full turn? I don't really want to change the rim size as its just not in the budget atm. So if I can get a bigger tire without rubbing or affecting my gearing  (idk its just stuff i've been reading) what size can I go to? Looking for a friend. Thanks!

I just posted about this for my 3rd gen
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/3rd-gen-lift-33s-overview.671979/#post-23600893

The stock 265s with that lift don't look too bad, but bigger tires do look better.
I think with that generation, you might need to do trimming and maybe a cab mount chop (like $100) for things to totally clear.

I wouldn't recommend going any bigger than 33s if you only are going with a 2.5-3 lift.
