    The only other thing that might be hurting you is your stock wheel offset, but even that wouldn't *give* you the problems you're facing, but running a higher offset would help *alleviate* some problems. The real problem, with what you've disclosed about your setup, is the UCAs. Those should be your priority. Do you still have your stock units? If not, try to find some cheap good used ones if money is indeed tight. While you're at it, maybe share the part numbers or details for the UCAs you installed and see if someone in the know can confirm they're a problem based on specs.

    I, and many, have the same setup; 5100s on 0, 885s and STOCK UCAs/LCAs. No problems...but also no sway bar and SCS Ray 10 wheels with a more aggressive offset. Alignment went fine 2 years ago and half shaft operating angles look excellent to me.

    If you purely need to get the truck around as you count on it and can't much afford to fix the real issue, try a pair of 2" wheel spacers up front (even borrow some from a local member if you can). Should be $80 to buy and would allow you to *get by*, just don't mistake this for even a remotely permanent fix...you can consider removing the sway bar for a while too (if it's hitting the coils/wheels).

    Also, focus on finding what caused your front tire cut as well, it shouldn't be your skid as your stock wheel/tire setup won't run this issue, unless the UCA is throwing it off that bad (sounds like it is).

    This is why I hate throwing things away. I tried to give my stock UCAs away, but nobody wanted them. I tossed them last time I moved. Somebody has stock units they'll give you - you might have to pay shipping.

    Haha right, I still have my OE shocks and coils (with 110K miles on them) from two years ago...because I figure either I, or someone, will need them some day (I know they won't...but can't help it sometimes). Finally sold my coils to a guy that needed to go back to stock for affordable..and I should really throw out the shocks finally.

    I held on to my sway bar and stock "skid plate" for a couple years, but I moved 7 times in 2 years. I still have a bunch of smaller parts that could go back on, or not.

    Kept my sway, figured it might need to go back on one day to sell.

    OP; I see a few for sale threads on stock UCAs in the marketplace here. Always an option. Is there a difference in 4x4 and prerunner UCAs?

    Sadly they say local pickup only. I actually still have my oem uca's but I would need to refresh them as they seem pretty shit.

    Sorry I missed this reply, that weird thing where the thread goes from one page to two sometimes makes it look wierd.

    Okay. So I think I need to lower down to the 884's and then put the OEM arms back on. Do they make bushings and shit for them? Mine are pretty rough.

    Same crap everyone else got
    I would change out your uca to stock and see if that works before changing out springs also. Many of us run 5100's with 885 and stock uca and have none of the issues you are having.

    The 885's shouldn't be a problem, I have them with then nitro shocks and SPC UCA's and with the stock sway bar on drop brackets with 16x8 wheels 0 offset and 285/75/16's it did not rub or contact anything. I have 17x8.5 -10 offset now with 305/65/17 tires and I get a little rub on the body mount so I plan on adjusting the UCA's to push the tire forward more. Do you have any pictures showing your truck as it sits, it sounds like the UCA's are too much.

    Well that seems that it would solve everything except for the shocks topping out, I'm not sure how else to fix that and after riding for a while I decided that 2" would be better than 3" haha.

    I do not but I will take some when I get a moment. At the office right now. Do your nitro's top out very easy?

    I only have... .7" - .9" of down travel in the front before the shock tops out.

    My shocks don't seem to top out, but one of the shocks is bad and I need to replace it in the spring. My truck has add-a-leafs in the rear with the 885/nitros up front and it sits pretty good.

    I wonder if your shocks are set too high.

    I'm surprised the Prerunner front end is so light with the 4.0 in it. I could see you topping out with a 2.7 2wd on 885s, but I would have thought your configuration would be fine with those springs.
