My son and I put my Toytec boss on a week ago saturday. Got 2" front and 2" AAL rear. I went back and forth on wheels and tires. Finally decided on Ballistic wheels and 285/70/17 Cooper AT3/ I am happy with the outcome. I drove myself nuts with offset and backspacing choices. I ended up going 17x9 with zero offset (5" bs) I didnt want tires too far out past fender just flush. As you can see , it was right on. I was worried about tire rubbing UCA or cab mount. While I havn't and dont plan on off roading it. so far so good, no rubbing. The only place the tires did rub was on the air dam. I trimmed a little and was fine but then decided to take it off and I think I like it removed better.

This looks great man. Glad you left the white letters on the outside. Also curious about the ride compared to stock. When I lift I want to keep my ride as smooth as possible.

just got wheels and tires yesterday. but ride was good with stock wheels and lift. Can't tell ya on gas mileage as I only had 295 miles on it when I put the wheels and tires on it . Still breaking in. Plus I won't miss lost gas mileage as I don't know what I had to start lol

Ride is a little stiffer but i like that. Stock suspension felt spongy. litterally , stock rear shock u could put against your chest and compress . The toytec was all i could do to compress it myself. im pretty much done except i am having leather interior installed here soon. Going to Classic Soft Trim. Going to do 2tone just havnt decidex on exact 2 colors

Good call on the offset / size. I love that it doesn't stick out at all. It limits your rim choice but looks like it belongs on the truck.

Very nice Tacoma- really puts the truck in a different stance.

My suggestion : Run it through some terrain, it's a 4x4 and is begging to me challenged ! at least that's how I felt after I put my icon lift on...

    Enjoy that's a nice truck

    Beautiful truck
    Love the white letters out

But I think the white letters clash with the white on the wheels (woman's opinion)

Your daughter's BF sounds like a keeper

It looks superb, nice work. I'm the wrong person to ask this but whatever .. You have a TRD 4x4, lifted, off road tires .. and you never intend to leave the street, Why?

I won't say I never plan on leaving the street as I do hunt alot and have a few places that I have to off road to get to. But I don't plan on offloading just for the sake of offroading. Just not my cup of tea. I, like most I think, do tires and lift for looks more than function. I get to do all the offroading I need at work. I am a game warden so I get off road a good bit there
