So, my truck came with a spacer lift that I want to get rid of. I found some 5100s with OME 887 coils and decided to put those in instead.
With the spacer lift I measured about 23" from hub to fender.
The guys at the shop just pulled my old spacer/coilover combo and think that putting in the 5100/887 will result in a lower front end.
See picture for comparison of the assemblies. From this, it looks like I'll lose quite a bit of lift. I want to keep the ride height.
From all accounts the spacer lift looked to give about 3 inches of lift. 5100/887 is supposed to be the same, but I can't see it with how these sit. Looks like it'll lower the front end considerably.
    What do you all think?

OK. Seems like a considerable difference though. And the shop guys seemed to think that old, beefier spring would have a higher rate. They're pretty savvy on suspensions.

I don't want to waste the shop's time messing around with it. Or the $ that'll cost.
But I can tell them to go ahead and see.

trackside motorsports. They do lots of race stuff. Not so much lift stuff. But they've done me right on lots of other work.

Even without the spacer? I guess I'll give the go ahead and see.

The 5100 has 4 grooves for the lower spring pad so if lower you could move the bottom up a groove or 2 to increase height but will make the ride slightly harsher.
Probably on lowest setting now = 0 lift.

It was my understanding that 5100s at zero was the way to go with any OME coil. Basically pick your coil for the amount of lift. Seems like the good vendors on here say preloading the OME coils on 5100s isn't good.
I was basing my info off this chart.

The shop is pretty thorough so I'd expect them to give it a quick drive before handing it back over. I'll report back when I hear from them and later when I pick up the truck. Thank you again.

Yep @whatstcp is right. The spring rate is gonna be higher on the Bilsteins. The stock springs compress more which is why the spacer gives you the lift.

The thickness of those stock springs deceptively make it look like they have a high spring rate. I'm sure that's what the shop saw.
Thank you for confirming! I'm past my panic moment.

Just heard from the shop. @whatstcp was correct that the 5100/887 provided a similar amount of lift to the old stock/spacer combo. They said there's a little bit of rake, but it had that before. I'll give a measure tonight for hub to fender comparison. I appreciate the help everyone! Thank you.

So, final numbers after getting the truck back. Hub to fender measurements:
    Lf 22 3/8
    Rf 22 5/8
    Lr 24 3/8
    Rr 24 5/8

With the previous spacer setup I was at about 23 in the front. The spacers are rough country so I can assume it was their 3” lift kit. So, the lightly used 5100/887 combo appears to clock in right around 2.5” of lift.
The new rake isn’t too noticeable. My next step is getting a new leaf pack in the rear to replace the blocks back there. So that’ll help level it all out a bit.
The old alignment was awful. The shop was blown away by the specs. So the new alignment is a great improvement.
Ride quality feels much better. Bumps are less jarring. The old setup looks to be the original struts and springs. This upgrade was needed.
It seems my panic in the original post was mostly due to the shop’s unfamiliarity with the 5100/OME combo. So thank you for good info that I could pass on!
Here’s how the truck sits now. Rake isn’t too noticeable with the phone camera distortion.

And because I know some of you enjoy alignment specs....
