Depends what kind of wheeling you do and how much you want to spend.

im gunna be in mild mud pits and some water mostly, not looking to spend a shitload of money, just a beginner lift that will perform well.

i have been looking at the OME kits and they look great. im not trying to have you do all the work but do you know any good kits on the lower price range off the the top of your head?? ive seen the kits with new front springs and the add-a-leaf for the rear and was wondering if those would do the job?

Toytec spacers and AAL in the rear would be the cheapest route

cool, thanks man! i really appreciate the quick response with my question. and with those being the cheapest, will they still perform fairly well with some mild off roading?

Ya it will be fine, wont be able to launch it but will still let you have plenty of fun in the mud and on trails

I got 5100s in the front with 887 coils and a 1.5" HD AAL in the rear all thanks to Wheelers. Does great for my needs- mild to moderate offroading, lots of car camping, lots of highway driving, no crazy rock crawling but have done some decent trails that required some minor crawling. I have a full 3" and am level in the back. Way better ride than stock and I only spent about 700 total including shipping and that was with the 5100s installed with 887 (that cost 150 o have them preassembled). I opted not to do the full OME kit because I didn't want to spent 1200 bucks at this point in time. Oh and I did not need aftermarket UCAs to get my alignment within specs.

wow, that sounds great! i actually had been looking at the bilstein 5100s a lil bit ago. now when you say "i have a full 3'' and am level in the back" your saying that because you got 5100s with 887s and the aal in the rear, your truck is leveled out with a full 3 inch lift right? sorry if thats a dumb question, im new to the lifted truck game haha

Bilstein 5100's set at 0 and Toytec Eibach lift coil springs on mine with Toytec add a leaf rear.
Great ride and not terribly expensive.
