Watch the for sale section and look for a used kit.

db lifts are no good regardless of price. keep (or upgrade the 3" lift you have now). if you REALLY need more lift you can do a 1" body lift. 1-1.5" id consider acceptable but I wouldn't do higher than that.

Not enough to have a build thread.
Do what you like but no matter what, youre going to need to do some major mods to get a 6" lift on your Tacoma. I suggest a LT or SAS if you're going to go that far.

Or trim the hell out of it to make the tires clear.

6" of lift looks a bit odd on our small trucks. Maybe the bigger domestics or tundras........

Edit: the 4" of lift you have now look pretty good imo

Put a 3 in lift and a 3 in body lift on it.
You'll get close to god when someone hits you and the body seperates from the chassis.

Stick with a 3 in lift and a 1 in body lift.

No, bro truck would be a 10" lift with 24's and I atleast want a 4" lift and I'm still keeping my bullet holes for off-roading/to swap back and forth. I really just want to clear 35's. I've already trimmed a shit ton and I still tub with 33's

Sub $2000 is not enough to properly run 35s. Starting with a good lift, regear, proper wheel BS, possibly spacers, aftermarket flares or glass, CMC (access to a welder).....the list goes on.

Also, lift doesn't clear 35s, the above list does. Search the build pages of members on here that run dirty fives all day long on nothing more than 3" of lift.

Unless you do a drop bracket lift, body lift, or long travel, your tire clearance does not change. The suspension is still cycling through the same motion, your lift just puts your wheels further down at ride height. Hit a hard enough bump and your suspension will fully compress just like stock.

A body lift would help to clear the fenders, but your tires could still hit the frame while turning.

Honestly you're better off running a 2" body lift then. I would not do 3" but 2" is okay. You can easily clear 35s with that and it won't break the bank.
