Im looking to lift my truck 2 in in the front( not really sure how) but also wanting to replace the leafs in with OME to handle the extra weight of my topper, gear and tent. I'm running 275/70/17 what are some suggestions for the front and will I need to replace the rear with a 3in leaf?

3” in the rear? Consider extending the rear brake lines (~+2).

You may be able to get away with an AAL. It depends on how you use the vehicle. Also consider replacing the rear bump stops. I have Timbren’s.

Yeah I don't do anything crazy just minor off-roading to campsite and such. Id had just been reading about a lot guys replaced the stock leafs for heavy dutier ones to compensate for the weight. An AAL might do the trick tho.

I did a simple Eibach Pro truck and a 2" aal. Works great for the minor stuff I do. I can load the truck up pretty good with no sagging at all. I'd probably buy a cheap add a leaf then get a pack if I needed it. I was worried about the squeaking people get with packs that would drive me crazy.

the first question is what is your budget.

ebiach is a great option. or some bilstien 5100 with 885 spring in the front.

for the rear i ran all 4 options.
stock. very soft ride, any weight and it would bottom out
stock with 2" blocks. worked but with any weight like my camper shell and dogs, it would sag qickly
stock with add a leaf. worked ok for a while, rode better then stock but seems like they didnt like weight as well. i would load up the truck for a camping trip and they would hit the bump stops on bumps.
full leaf pack. rides great. and handles weight a lot better. loaded it for camp and it rode beautifully. only issue is that i got the OME leaf springs and they did start squeaking. oh well.

wish i saved all my money and went for a full leaf pack right away.
