right now i have a 3 inch ome lift on my prerunner and i want more lift so i was thinking either a 6 inch lift kit from fabtec to give me a total of 9 inches or do spindles to give me a total lift of 7 inches. i think id rather do the spindles since i can have more ground clearance but i dont know wat other parts i will need to make the spindles work.

for the spindles you need to take off your old ones and put the new ones on. in addition to swapping spindles you need to get longer brake lines than bleed the brakes.

leaving your 3in spacer on while you have the spindles installed is stacking lifts. it is highly NOT recommended to do, BUT people do it anyways. it is a personal choice if you wanna stack lifts. i have seen 6in fabtech with coilovers cranked with 3in spacers on top plus a body lift on a few vehicles. in the end it comes down to what you want.

I persoanlly don't think having spindles (4") then having say the ome 3" is considered stacking lifts. I know by definition stacking is putting more than 1 lift but if you think about it, why would it be bad to use a 3" on top of the spindle lift. Technically with the spindles you are starting from a stock configuration and geometry. What it seems like to me is with spindles you have a fresh start because your "stock". I have adjustable coilovers paired with mine and don't see any harm cranking those up to the 3" mark giving me a &" front end lift.

What do you mean? There's 2 companies, total chaos (3.5") and camburg (4"). Both companies have extended brake lines

ive decided on the camburg but im not sure if my wheels will fit because of the backspacing. the spindles say they can only have a 4.5inch backspacing and my wheels have a 5.5inch.
