Damn.. Truckin up installed my billies. Hopefully they didn't fuck anything up. When I get my AAL and UCA's Im definitely not getting them installed here lol

The guy at trucking up just doesn't sound qualified or professional by any means. When I called him the first time, he tried to tell me blocks in the back were better than an AAL.. Said people hated AAL's <---- I find that hard to believe because I love mine!

Ahh I gotcha. I actually have considered getting a 1" block for my rear instead of a 1.5" AAL, but only because reg cabs have problem with getting grinding/vibrations when you lift the back because of the angle of the U-joint or something. I don't know though. I'd like to lift mine a little more but I'm kind of at the point where costs exceed benefit.

I feel ya man. I'm 16 and I have to ride with my mommy to and from school because my truck is in the shop for a week and a half to two weeks getting the cab repaired from a wreck. Oh well. It will all be worth it when I get it back.

It could be worse bro. I had to wait until I was twice your age to be able to afford such a badass truck. Mommy and daddy wouldn't even let me get my drivers license. I either walked to school or rode the bus with the other losers. So yeah, it could be way fucking worse.

Well, the time has come. I FINALLY have my truck, lifted. When I picked it up, the mechanic was nowhere to be found, go figure. The manager was very apologetic about everything that happened and even knocked some $$$ of the price.

The long awaited excuse is: The mechanic put it on correctly, saw how much rake there was, thought it didn't look right, then took it out and installed it on top....

The lift actually does look good, though there is a lot of rake. Will that settle? Is my front supposed to be higher? Is that how it's supposed to be? Also, I did a bit of an analysis on the ride home. The ride is much better than the stiff shit SR5 suspension. Right as I accelerate, there are vibes, but so tiny no one would notice them except me. And they don't bother me either. As I accelerated from a stop light, I noticed that it chug-a-lugged at like 1300 RPMs and barely accelerated. I pushed a little harder, maybe up to 1900 RPMs and it still barely accelerated. This happened twice, but other times it didn't. Idk if it was just a weird occurrence of my lazy engine or if it had something to do with the lift. My last problem is that as I slowed down and stopped completely, the steering wheel would shift a bit to the right. It also wandered a tiny bit to the right (no more than before though). Is this stopping problem because of bad alignment (it didn't happen every time either) I may have just hit a bump haha

Wow man, that does look good. I even think it looks really good with the 265's. Some lifts need bigger tires but I think yours looks great
